Hydrogen Components, Inc. is proud to announce that we have been acquired by Prometheus Hydrogen, a company advancing the next generation of solid-state hydrogen storage and power technologies. This partnership represents an exciting new chapter in the evolution of hydrogen science and builds upon decades of foundational work pioneered here at HCI.

As part of this transition, HCI is phasing out the physical production of our legacy product lines. While manufacturing will no longer occur under the HCI brand, the spirit of innovation that defined our work will live on through Prometheus Hydrogen’s expanding platform. Their solid-state systems build upon the scientific groundwork established by HCI and are now being developed for commercial, industrial, government, and defense applications.
